As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing provider engagement strategies, tactical communication plans and go-to-market materials for Optum Infusion Pharmacy. These activities will educate providers about Optum Infusion Pharmacy and deliver meaningful differentiation that will create brand recognition and increase prescriber referrals driving growth for the business. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Optum Infusion Pharmacy. This position follows a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities :
Support the unique marketing needs of our infusion pharmacy healthcare provider sales team
Work with marketing team members, digital marketing team, project managers, subject matter experts, sales and account management teams to create and execute healthcare provider marketing campaigns to accelerate growth
Support sales / business initiatives by developing and implementing a marketing strategy that includes key activities such as presentation decks, print collateral, digital campaigns and other initiatives related to our capabilities and services that define our value for healthcare providers
Proactively engage and partner with our field sales, clinical, legal, training and program teams to effectively define strategies that will drive engagement and grow our provider referrals
Support capability / product launches using data driven strategies and track ROI of marketing initiatives
Coordinate the development of creative projects with Creative Services
Ensure branding and messaging are consistently utilized across all marketing materials
Knowledge of sales processes and methodology
Support other marketing initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications :
4+ years of work experience in a Marketing or Communications role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proven solid collaboration and relationship-building skills across a wide range of groups and functions
Demonstrated ability to effectively shift back and forth from a variety of projects and priorities
Familiarity with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability to work in the Eden Prairie, MN, office 4 days weekly
Preferred Qualifications :
1+ years of experience in health care, pharmaceutical or infusion pharmacy industry
Demonstrated ability to clarify, manage and prioritize several deliverables to meet deadlines
Demonstrated self-starter and team player
Proven organizational skills
Proven ability to work with a wide range of colleagues and subject matter experts
Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
