Mitigation Technician

  • Full-time
  • 12-hour shifts, with a schedule of 4 days on one week followed by 3 days the next week.

Job Brief

We are looking for hardworking individuals with good communication skills to join our team and work alongside our technicians to remove damaged materials and monitor water damage from multiple locations. Workwear and company vehicles will be provided to help you succeed in this position.   • Responsibilities and Duties

  • Document safety hazards and water damage with photos and moisture readings
  • Operate water extraction equipment to remove excess moisture from homes
  • Assess salvageable material and dispose of non-salvageable material
  • Properly Setup, Monitor, and takedown drying equipment with care
  • Thoroughly document drying progress with pictures and notes regarding humidity and moisture levels
  • Customer service through clear and accurate communication with the homeowner
  • Organize and clean equipment and vehicles at end of day Requirements
  • Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (upwards of 100 lbs.)
  • Experience driving trucks & pulling trailers
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in the safe use of power tools
  • At least one year experience in water mitigation (preferred)
  • Customer service skills (preferred)
  • High school diploma (preferred)
