About The Position

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician for a locum tenens assignment in New Jersey. This opportunity begins on Oct 10, 2025, has a 2-week duration, and features weekday evening and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing urgent care cases, including COVID care, suturing, and splinting.

Job Details

  • Location : New Jersey
  • Start Date : Oct 10, 2025
  • LOA : 2 weeks
  • Provider Type Needed : Urgent Care Physician
  • Schedule : 6pm-10pm; patients are seen until 8pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends, with all patients to be seen before leaving; scheduled dates include Oct 10 and Oct 24

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care services to walk-in patients
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, including COVID cases
  • Perform suturing and splinting as required
  • Ensure all patients who arrive before closing time are seen before leaving
  • Utilize AdvancedMD EMR system for documentation and patient records
