Billing and Invoicing : Collaborate with project managers to prepare accurate and timely client invoices based on project milestones and completed work. Contract Management : Review construction contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements to ensure compliance with financial terms and conditions. Risk Management : Identify and assess financial risks associated with construction projects, proposing mitigation strategies as needed. Compliance : Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures. Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve cost accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with project managers, estimators, procurement staff, and others to support project objectives and financial goals. Audit Support : Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis related to project costs and financial transactions.

Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or 2-3 years work experience in an accounting role.
- Experience : Previous experience in cost accounting, preferably within the construction industry. Familiarity with construction accounting principles, job costing, and project management is highly desirable.
- Skills :
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements.
- Ethical standards and integrity in financial reporting.
