Insight Global is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for a full-time position in Birmingham, AL. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a PE or FPE license and over 5 years of experience in the fire alarm industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop fire alarm systems according to NFPA standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine fire protection needs.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders for system integration.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and ensure compliance with safety standards.
