Job Overview

Responsible for electrical labor on a construction job site. Works under a superintendent or above; follows instructions within an established process.

Job Requirements & Skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams; apply electrical theory to practical applications.
• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment; install various types of electrical conduit systems according to NEC.
• Follow all unit electrical and maintenance practices.
• Work in manufacturing environments, including climbing stairs and catwalks, and in extreme heat / cold weather conditions.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations; wear all personal protective equipment.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of journeymen and helpers.
• Responsible for accurate and timely entry of time sheets.
