Responsibilities Position is based in a general hospital with a 78-bed capacity Work includes Couplet Care, attending all deliveries, care for low risk antepartum patients, and providing care in the Transition Nursery Shift schedule is 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM with every other weekend and some on-call responsibilities Occasional floating as helping hands to Med / Surg or Senior Behavioral Health without a patient assignment, rotating up to two hours at a time Role involves caring for laboring, antepartum, and postpartum mothers and their newborns including Couplet Care and support during deliveries Team support includes floating as needed to other departments for additional staff support Required to complete facility-specific modules prior to assignment start Local candidates within 60 miles are considered at a reduced rate Scrubs required as per hospital policy Prior employment at facility may require a review process before eligibility to return Holiday and on-call coverage may be required Requirements Active CT RN license required Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP, all must be from the American Heart Association AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course completion required (Advanced EFM not accepted) Fetal Monitoring experience required Minimum of two years recent LDRP experience required Preferred qualifications : C-EFM and STABLE certifications Two professional references from prior year in current specialty from a manager or higher Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609570.
