As a Security Guard - Media Site Patrol in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to any security-related concerns, and uphold the values of Allied Universal by acting with integrity, reliability, and a people-first attitude. What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.
  • Monitor the location for unusual activity and report any suspicious behavior according to established protocols.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
