Vice President of Accounting Analytics

A company is looking for a VP, Accounting Analytics Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of standard financial performance reporting, including FX, variance, and trend analytics

Drive management basis accounting reviews and develop account-level commentary and analytical review controls

Build and lead a high-functioning team of reporting analysts while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and automation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA preferred

10+ years of experience in financial analytics, reporting, or FP&A within the (re)insurance industry

Advanced expertise in data visualization / reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Thorough knowledge of Life & Annuity (re)insurance industry accounting principles and financial reporting standards

Strong knowledge of US GAAP / US STAT / SFS and EBS accounting rules and requirements
