Overview IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a full-time Product and Content Marketing Lead to join our team in San Mateo, CA. You will help lead the GTM planning process for new products / features and updates and work to ensure internal and external product marketing communications are executed smoothly. You will create a broad range of product marketing materials to support our customer-facing teams and develop content marketing pieces to engage with educators, parents, and students. This role requires strong writing and communication, creativity, organization, and a passion for IXL’s mission to impact education.
What You\'ll Be Doing Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new releases and updates
Project-manage the GTM process for multiple product launches
Write and develop marketing content, including messaging and positioning documents, emails, web copy, print collateral, blog posts, case studies, and more
Develop and drive campaigns to increase awareness and usage of the product\'s features by existing customers
Collaborate with the Marketing team to devise creative ways to reach potential customers and deepen engagement with current users
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product managers, graphic designers) to execute projects from start to finish
Foster seamless communication between Product and Marketing, and between Marketing and customer-facing teams
Assist with product / messaging training for Sales and customer-facing teams
Manage 3 content marketing associates
What We\'re Looking For BA / BS degree and 6-9 years of solid marketing experience
1+ years of people management experience
Customer focus with empathy for customers and ability to balance business and customer outcomes
Verbal communication : effective cross-functional communication and strategic questioning
Written communication : outstanding writing and editing skills across various formats
Interpersonal skills : strong team player capable of working with people at all levels
Execution : self-starter, detail- and deadline-oriented, organized, resourceful, and able to manage cross-functional projects
Strategic thinking : ability to assess ideas from multiple angles and align with company needs
Operational prowess : ability to identify efficiencies and create workflows that bring the IXL brand to life
Interest in education / edtech and ability to learn quickly about the industry
Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop experience is a plus
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $150,000 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries; individual pay is determined by location and relevant factors including skills, experience, and education.
