Job Summary :

A hospital in Maryland is seeking a locum tenens Cardiologist to join their team for a 224-day assignment starting in March 2025. The ideal candidate will be available for full-time clinic hours with additional on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide cardiology services in an outpatient clinic setting
  • See new patients and conduct follow-up appointments
  • Perform and interpret nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, and stress tests
  • Read echocardiograms and EKGs during weekend call
  • Manage one weeknight of call per week and 1 : 6 weekend call rotation

Requirements :

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist
  • Proficiency in Cerner EMR system
  • Ability to work full-time (4 weeks / month preferred, 2 weeks / month considered)
  • Comfortable with outpatient clinic and on-call duties
  • Experience in reading echocardiograms and EKGs
