TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med / Surg RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Pay Information

$2,044 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, CPI preferred

Must-Have : EPIC experience required. Must be able to take insulin and heparin drips. Charge experience preferred.

Description :

Cross posting of job ID is not allowed to be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional time off could possibly turn into a cancellation.

Charge required on night shifts with target ratios of 1 : 6-7.

Shifts of either 36 or 48 hours accepted.

If working 48 hours, no overtime will be billed until after 48 hours.

Time off requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days.

Call required if placed on call for a prescheduled shift.

Floating to similar units may be required based on patient needs.

Travelers will be assigned to work every other weekend and are expected to work holidays.

Possibility of caring for COVID patients may occur.

Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team.

Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.

Daily patient diagnoses include adults and geriatrics with a daily census of approximately 43.

Knowledge of insulin drips, heparin drips, wound vac dressing changes, and high flow oxygen is necessary.

Staffing is supported by interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.

Traveler must be comfortable floating based on patient needs without restrictions or special requests.

Reference checks are preferred prior to start.

Candidate should be open to working in various locations, units, and shifts as needed.

Compliance with fatigue policies is required; travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or exceed 60 hours in a week.

Modules must be completed prior to start and annually; hours vary by specialty.
