    Primary Duties And Responsibilities

    In this position you will play an integral role in the process of assembly to meet customer needs. You need to be motivated, detail-oriented, and a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic.

  • Programming PCB's (training provided), fine soldering (must have), soldering wires to PCBs, cables, connectors
  • Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems : reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationships to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device
  • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cement, press fits
  • Performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, and power tools
  • Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on a panel
  • Connect components lead wires to printed circuits or routes and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points, using fine soldering, or related bonding procedures and equipment
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases
  • Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies
  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, and color-coding parts and assemblies
  • Tends machines that press, shape, or wind component parts
  • Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics
  • Performs on-line go-not-go testing and inspection, using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards
  • Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
  • Follow quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI, IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Weidman, MI facility.

    Qualifications

    Education

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience hands-on production
  • Skills & Abilities

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial hydraulic systems, components, and applications.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong work ethic pursuing a high standard of excellence.
  • Physical Demands

    Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting of items such as a laptop computer, small products or parts, product books or catalogs. Ability to effectively communicate using company-issued devices such as laptop, mobile phone, etc.

    Work Environment

    While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general production environment. Must be able to move through warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and related machinery. Work outside normal business hours may be required.
