Intake Specialist

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and support operational processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Accurately enter patient referrals and communicate with referral sources to ensure proper documentation

Review medical records for compliance and work with patients regarding financial responsibilities

Supervise team members, lead training sessions, and monitor performance metrics

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred

One year of work-related experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or insurance

Experience in a healthcare organization that bills insurance or provides medical supplies

Advanced knowledge of Medicare guidelines and payer policies

Ability to navigate multiple online EMR systems and maintain patient confidentiality
