Job Summary
The Inside Sales Associate at XCaliber Container is responsible for generating sales leads, nurturing customer relationships, and closing deals for the sale of our general storage container line. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing tailored product recommendations, and managing the sales process from inquiry to delivery. The Inside Sales Specialist will collaborate with the sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and help grow the company’s client base.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing timely and accurate information on storage container sales. Engage with other members of sales team for fabrication services leads.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate container solutions, including customization options for modified containers.
- Actively pursue outbound sales opportunities by following up on leads, engaging with potential clients, and developing new business relationships.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by delivering excellent service and support throughout the sales process.Serve as the main point of contact for customer questions, concerns, and order updates.Provide regular follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.Sales Process Management
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to final sale, including pricing, order confirmation, and coordination with logistics for delivery.Prepare sales quotes, proposals, and contracts tailored to customer needs.Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and transactions using CRM software.Ensure all customer information is entered in all appropriate platforms for accurate and timely order processing.Product Knowledge and Expertise
Develop in-depth knowledge of storage container products and services, including specifications, customization options, and pricing.Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market demand to offer relevant solutions to customers.Educate customers on product benefits, features, and customization capabilities.Collaboration with Other Teams
Work closely with the operations and fabrication teams to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and meet customer expectations.Coordinate with logistics to arrange timely and accurate deliveries of containers to customer sites.Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies and promotional activities.Reporting and Sales Metrics
Monitor and report on sales performance, including lead conversion rates, revenue targets, and customer satisfaction.Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and objectives.Provide insights and feedback to the sales manager on market trends and customer needs.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements : Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.2+ years proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or related roles, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple sales leads and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Experience in the storage container or fabrication industry.Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.Knowledge of sales processes in a B2B environment.Benefits
