Job Description

As a Security Guard Flex - Telecom Patrol in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you assist employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the tech, media, and telecom location environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or potential issues.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or vendors while representing Allied Universal on site.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
