About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Certifications : BLS, ACLS (Preferred : NRP & PALS)

Must-Have :

• Must be able to perform EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry
• Experience with all patient populations (adults, pediatrics, and neonates)

Description :

Department includes Respiratory Therapy services.

Types of patients include all populations.

Areas covered include inpatient services.

There is a lead therapist on each shift.

Equipment used includes Drager ventilators, Vision, V60, and V30 for BiPAP, and Airvo2 for high flow.

Team scheduling is utilized with shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Every third weekend is a requirement.

Holiday shifts are rotated among staff.

Floating to all areas within the facility is expected.

Unit-specific orientation consists of three 12-hour shifts.

RTO must be provided upfront, with a limit of 7 days or less per 13-week contract.

Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions.

The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.

The charting system used is EPIC.

A trauma level of 2 is required.

The care setting is acute.

The division involved is allied health.
