Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join our 5-physician practice at a premier healthcare facility in the heart of Topeka, Kansas. Enjoy this exciting opportunity in the Midwest capital city, offering an affordable cost of living and a supportive community.

Job Responsibilities :

• Full-time BC / BE Neonatologist position available.
• Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule; approximately 170 hours of in-house coverage per month.
• Provide in-house call and backup call from home.
• Deliver a full range of services in a Level-III, 36-bed NICU.
• Services include high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body cooling, and aEEG.
• Handle an average daily census of 26 with an average length of stay of 19 days.
• Manage approximately 500 admissions annually.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialties including Cardiology, Neurology, General Surgery, and Endocrinology.
• Maintain compliance with The Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification in the Care of Premature Babies since 2012.
• Open to new Fellow graduate candidates who are BC in Pediatrics.
• Visa sponsorship available for J1 & H1B candidates.
