Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours Employment Type : Travel Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Location : Alpena, MI Start Date : 10 / 13 / 2025 Assignment Length : 13 Weeks Shift Details : Day shifts Schedule may alternate between 4x10s (7 : 00a–5 : 30p) or 5x8s (7 : 00a–3 : 30p) depending on department need 40-hour guarantee Weekends & holidays : call coverage only On-call : up to 12 shifts / month Position Summary : This role provides nursing care for patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional, and cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, intra-procedure documentation, post-cath recovery, and patient education. The RN will also assist with interventional radiology (IR) procedures and pre- / post-procedure care. Key Responsibilities : Perform nursing care for catheterization / angiography patients Operate equipment such as cardiac output monitors, hemodynamic systems, pacemakers / ICDs, intra-aortic balloon pumps, etc. Provide patient transfers, supply stocking, and support with basic office procedures Scrub in for procedures with the physician (preferred, not required) Record pertinent data on procedure and patient care sheets Submission Requirements : Cath Lab experience – Required Interventional Radiology (IR) experience – Highly Preferred 1 years’ Electrophysiology experience – Highly Preferred Cardiac rhythm interpretation – Highly Preferred Knowledge and operation of intra-aortic balloon pump – Highly Preferred Travel experience – Preferred Certifications (Required) : ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) Contact HumanEdge Health : humanedgealliedhealth.com HumanEdge Travel Healthcare Job ID 12529.
