About The Position

Position Type : Full-Time, Employed (Not 1099 or Locum)

Start Date : ASAP (with 90 days for credentialing)

About the Opportunity :

We are seeking a dedicated Dermatologist to join a thriving outpatient and clinic-based practice in Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reopening dermatology practice that emphasizes a balanced mix of medical and cosmetic dermatology services. Providers will enjoy a supportive environment with a focus on work-life balance and career growth.

Position Highlights :

Practice setting : Outpatient and clinic-based

Schedule : Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule

Minimum 36 direct patient contact hours per week + 4 hours administrative time

Level 2 trauma designation facility

Medical dermatology constitutes 90% of the practice with 10% cosmetic dermatology (growth potential in cosmetic services)

High procedure volume : ~80% of visits include procedures such as skin tag removals, biopsies, and other dermatologic treatments

Patient volume : 4-5 patients / hour, with 3-4 involving procedures

EMR system : EPIC

Work-life balance is a key priority within the system

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified Dermatologist OR Truly Board Eligible within 1 year of graduation (must become Board Certified within 3 years)

Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)

BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

DEA certification (or ability to obtain)

Clean malpractice and license history

Flu vaccine required

No lapses in Board Certification accepted

Candidates must be willing to work onsite and cannot commute more than 1 hour or hold another job concurrently

Visa status : Open to H1B candidates only (J1 not accepted)

Not open to 1099 or Locum Tenens candidates
