American Sign Language Adjunct Instructor

Job Responsibilities

Serves as an adjunct instructor for the Child & Youth Studies Department.

Classes taught can and may include :

• American Sign Language I, II, III, IV
• Careers in American Sign Language
• Linguistics of American Sign Language
• Deaf History and Culture

The schedule includes day and / or evening classes, face-to-face, online, hybrid, or SOM (Synchronous Online Learning). Course location may include : Thornley, Palmer, Mt. Pleasant, or Dorchester Campus during the Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters.

Minimum and Additional Requirements This position requires a masters degree in ASL, Communication Disorders, or Hearing Impairment with a certification in American Sign Language.
