A company is looking for an Infusion Coordinator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule infusions for GI patients and monitor infusion queues for timely appointments
Interact with medical staff to confirm and review infusion plans, ensuring accurate patient documentation
Verify insurance and obtain pre-service infusion authorizations while assisting patients with coverage inquiries
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
2-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Familiarity with biologics and / or infusible medications
Experience with obtaining insurance benefits and authorizations
Knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) desired; bilingual (Spanish) a plus
