Overview

We are hiring a Senior UX Researcher (not a designer with limited research experience) in a fast-paced environment; the role will support backlog refinement, product development, and roadmap execution. Candidate must be local to Chicago, IL

Details

Job Title : Senior UX Researcher

Work Location : Chicago, IL

Duration : 12 months Contract

Hourly Rate : $60.00-$62.00 per hour

Manufacturing industries is MUST

Top Technical Skills

  • Ability to uncover deep customer insights
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in UX research methodologies and documentation

Experience & Education

  • 8-10 years of UX research experience Required.
  • Educational background in Social Sciences, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction , or a related UX discipline.
  • Some design experience is acceptable, but the focus is on deep research capability .

    • Tools & Platforms Used

  • Miro – for collaboration and research synthesis
  • Dovetail – for video editing and qualitative research analysis
  • Canon tools – for capturing research (likely video or photography)
  • Airtable – for project management
  • Aha! – for product planning
  • Figma – for design collaboration
