Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant-School-based Health Center

We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, age-appropriate care to pediatric and adolescent students at Oakdale S chool-Based Health Center .

As part of our mission-driven team, you’ll play a key role in keeping students healthy, focused, and ready to learn providing preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and addressing acute needs right on campus.

What You’ll Do :

Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care for children and teens.

Conduct wellness exams, sports physicals, and immunizations.

Diagnose and treat common illnesses and minor injuries.

Educate students and families on healthy habits and disease prevention.

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the AHL care team to support overall student wellness.

What You’ll Bring :

Licensed FNP (Louisiana RN & APRN) or certified PA.

Master’s degree from an accredited program and current national certification.

CPR certification required.

At least 1 year of pediatric, family practice, or adolescent health experience preferred.

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with youth.
