Security Guard - Armed Patrol License

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol License in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense and more.

As a valued team member with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive atmosphere for all personnel. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and attention to detail while operating a vehicle as needed. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication in every situation. Pay Rate : $26.24 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Wed 01 : 45 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 01 : 45 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 01 : 45 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 01 : 45 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local laws and regulations.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
