Cash Application Specialist
Provides support to the accounts receivable functions of Capital Health's Patient Accounts Department. Oversees processes surrounding research and remedial steps necessary to ensure that monies received are applied correctly.
Minimum Requirements
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : One year experience in customer service, accounts receivable, cashier or billing required.
Other Credentials :
Knowledge and Skills : Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must be self-sufficient with navigating various systems.
Special Training : Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficient with remittance advice review.
Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities : Ability to work independently as well as a team player. Ability to complete assignments within prescribed accuracy parameters and deadlines.
Usual Work Day : 8 Hours
