DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this professional social service supervisory position, you will be responsible for the supervision of casework staff in Columbia County Children & Youth Services. Your responsibilities will involve supervising and reviewing the work of caseworkers to ensure compliance with policy and appropriateness of client needs and interpreting the program's goals and objectives to other human service agencies and the public. You will also provide casework support in difficult cases, intervene in crisis situations, and communicate with a variety of other professionals and community members to enhance coordination of service delivery. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures and supervised by the Casework Manager.
