About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience

License : State licensed RN

Certifications : ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT or RCIS

Must-Have :

• Cardiac cath lab experience
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC and MacLab preferred

Description :

Performs advanced practice cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography.

Conducts electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.

Implements cardiac device implantation procedures.

Provides peri-procedural care and education for patients.

Assists cardiologists and other specialists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Maintains records and documentation for procedures.

Involves two labs of electrophysiology for pacemaker devices, ablations, and ICD insertions, along with five cardiac catheterization labs.

Typically sees approximately 20 patients a day across all labs.

Operates in a fast-paced, high acuity environment.

Performs structural heart procedures including Watchman’s, TAVR, and MitraClips.

This is a level 3 cardiac catheterization lab.
