Adelphi is seeking a Resource Teacher to provide pullout special education services for students in grades K–5 at an Elementary school in Greer, South Carolina. This position is ideal for a dedicated, certified educator committed to supporting students with learning disabilities or multi-categorical needs through targeted, individualized instruction in a small group setting.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Special Education endorsement / certification for Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-categorical (multi-categorical preferred; LD acceptable).
  • Completion of a teacher preparation program with student teaching.
  • Background check and fingerprinting clearance.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide targeted pullout instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Adapt and deliver instruction using evidence-based strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress regularly and update IEPs accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices.
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning.
  • Utilize technology to support learning and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA and South Carolina state standards.
  • Promote a respectful, supportive, and academically challenging environment.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
