Credentialing Specialist

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to manage the credentialing process for reviewers.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial and recredentialing processes, including data entry, verification of credentials, and communication with the Operations team

Manage updates on expired licenses, board certifications, and conduct background checks

Participate in the Quality Management Committee and assist team members with credentialing-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

Preferred Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree

Experience in credentialing within a healthcare or insurance setting

Knowledge of URAC and relevant State and Federal guidelines

Computer literacy and typing skills required

Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection
