We have a current opportunity for a User Support person in our IT Department

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in a Desktop Support role
  • Firsthand experience in a corporate environment with the following technologies / products :

Windows 10 & 11

  • Microsoft Office Suites
  • Basic LAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting with client computers and laptops.
  • Stand-alone and networked printer troubleshooting and repair
  • Desktop / Laptop hardware repair
  • Must have CompTIA A+ certification

    CompTIA Network+ certification preferred

    Position Requirements

  • Respond to voice mail, email and user requests for tier 1 technical support for 400+ user base.
  • Analyze and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating systems, application software, printers and PC LAN connectivity
  • Performs a wide variety of tasks in software / hardware maintenance and operational support of client systems
  • Actively searches company database for previous solutions
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Create / Maintain technical and procedural documentation
  • Adhere to company procedures
  • Ability to work assigned tickets to resolution and projects as assigned
  • Personal Effectiveness :

    Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have ability to work within a team environment to achieve shared goals. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively are essential.
