Overview
As a Product Marketing Lead, youll play a strategic and hands-on role in shaping how customers experience Affirms products. You'll help define our customer strategy, lead high-impact go-to-market initiatives, and develop compelling narratives that drive business outcomes. This role has full ownership of high-impact initiatives, operates with self-initiative, and manages multiple stakeholders, resolving complex challenges.
What Youll Do
Lead Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution : Own the strategy and execution end-to-end. Navigate ambiguity with minimal input required, leveraging customer research, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform strategy and prioritization.
Drive Effective Communications Strategy : Build consumer-facing communications that inform product and partner execution. Test, track, and optimize communication strategies to inform future executions. Influence decisions with customer and partner insights.
Operate with Agility and Drive Execution : Manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, anticipate risks, and maintain momentum through planning and execution. Evaluate trade-offs to balance short-term impact and long-term value.
Use Data to Inform Execution : Advocate for customer pain points and opportunities at key decision forums. Develop frameworks for using customer data to drive actionable decisions and translate business goals into actionable product marketing and go-to-market initiatives.
Leverage Business and Product Acumen : Understand the Affirm ecosystem, revenue and cost drivers, and own the success metrics for partnership-focused areas aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate Across Teams to Drive Alignment : Identify and mitigate risks from shifting priorities or unclear requirements. Build strong relationships across Partner, Merchant, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, and other teams.
Be a Culture Carrier : Champion Affirms values and culture, fostering collaboration, transparency, and innovation. Lead by example in creating an inclusive and growth-oriented environment.
What Were Looking For
5-7 years of experience in product marketing or a similar role, ideally in Payments or Fintech.
Proven track record of leading partnership strategy and communication alongside product launches and GTM strategy that delivers business results.
Analytical mindsetcomfortable with data to extract insights that influence marketing strategies and product performance.
Confident cross-functional leader able to manage multiple relationships to drive marketing communications forward with buy-in from multiple teams.
Experience navigating ambiguity and driving alignment in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Champions innovation by experimenting with new approaches and sharing learnings.
Excellent communicator and storyteller, able to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
Experience working with in-house designers and content developers to drive flawless execution in design and copy, tying customer-facing communication across touchpoints.
Campaign development leader able to pull insights from customer data and build multi-touchpoint campaigns.

Affirms pay structure is based on location, experience, and job-related skills. Base pay is part of total compensation that may include equity and other benefits (including health coverage, stipends, and more).
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year : $140,000 - 190,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year : $124,000 - 174,000
Affirm is remote-first. The majority of roles are remote; some roles may be office-based depending on job responsibilities.
