Fleet Equipment Mechanic

We’re seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on truck-mounted equipment. This hands-on role ensures rental units are serviced, safe, and ready for deployment.

Responsibilities :

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Interpret and work from electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Perform preventive maintenance across chassis, vacuum systems, and related components.

Ensure all repairs meet DOT and OEM standards.

Conduct check-in / check-out inspections and document all work performed.

Maintain a clean, organized shop that meets operational standards.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED required.

4+ years of verifiable experience as a technician or mechanic.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to read technical schematics.

Experience with truck-mounted vacuum or similar industrial equipment preferred.

Able to perform DOT inspections.

Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Must provide a complete basic hand tool set; large and specialty tools are supplied.
