Job Summary

The Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the RN Supervisor who typically oversees multiple locations, in which the Lead LPN serves as the lead clinical resource in the onsite absence of the RN Supervisor.

The LPN Lead will uphold clinical standards under the guidance of the RN Supervisor and the Clinical Services department. Will promote clinical competency as well as maintain clinical quality control through leading and supporting survey readiness efforts as it relates to back office clinical operations.

Required Minimum Education

Diploma from a practical or vocational nursing program

Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s)

Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor

State of Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse

Required Minimum Experience

Specific experience in practice specialty is required

Minimum 1 year experience in a Pediatric Specialty as a practical or vocational nurse is Required in addition to experience working in a medical office is Required.
