Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development and execution of complex engineering projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and proven project management expertise. The successful candidate will drive project success by ensuring all specifications, timelines, and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage multiple high-risk projects from inception to completion, adhering to established technical and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and engineering, to define project requirements and allocate resources effectively.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines and budget forecasts, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Monitor and control project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges, ensuring a smooth transition from design to production.
  • Establish and oversee testing and qualification plans to validate product performance and quality.
  • Conduct training sessions for customer service teams on new product offerings.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.

    • Required Skills and Abilities :

  • Strong technical knowledge and design experience in core competency technologies relevant to the business unit.
  • Advanced project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and proactive management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the product development process from ideation to production.
  • Adept at managing shifting priorities and adapting to changing project requirements.
