Your Role as the Director of Nursing
As the Director of Nursing, you will lead a dynamic nursing team with a focus on high-quality care, team development, and operational excellence. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping patient outcomes, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and mentor nursing staff to excellence in care and teamworkOversee daily clinical operations and staffing within budget guidelinesEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policiesPromote exceptional patient care through staff education and trainingCommunicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teamsChampion quality improvement, best practices, and continuous learningHandle hiring, performance reviews, and staff developmentMaintain a safe, clean, and collaborative work environmentParticipate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planningWhat You Bring
RN License in good standing (ASN required, BSN preferred)5+ years of full-time clinical experience, with 2+ years in leadership / supervisionPrior experience in hospital or mental health settings preferredBLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with EMR systems (Kipu a plus) and sound clinical judgmentStrong understanding of behavioral health practices and patient safetyValid driver's license and proof of insuranceSkills & Competencies
