Your Role as the Director of Nursing

As the Director of Nursing, you will lead a dynamic nursing team with a focus on high-quality care, team development, and operational excellence. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping patient outcomes, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor nursing staff to excellence in care and teamwork
  • Oversee daily clinical operations and staffing within budget guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
  • Promote exceptional patient care through staff education and training
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Champion quality improvement, best practices, and continuous learning
  • Handle hiring, performance reviews, and staff development
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning
  • What You Bring

  • RN License in good standing (ASN required, BSN preferred)
  • 5+ years of full-time clinical experience, with 2+ years in leadership / supervision
  • Prior experience in hospital or mental health settings preferred
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with EMR systems (Kipu a plus) and sound clinical judgment
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health practices and patient safety
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

  • Familiarity with glucometers, UDS, vital signs, med administration, etc.

  • $2,500 paid after 90 days of employment in good standing
  • Additional payments at 6, 9, and 12 months
