The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.

$23.50 - $44.00

Position Highlights

Work Schedule : Mon-Thurs shifts include 7 : 30-5, 7 : 45-1, 7 : 45-3, 7 : 45-4 8-5, and 8am to close (roughly 7-730). Friday shifts include 7 : 30-1, 7 : 45-Noon, 8-Noon, or 8am to close. Rotate every 3rd weekend and about 2 holidays / per year.

Sign on Bonus :

MLS : This position may be eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a 3 year commitment as well as a relocation bonus.

MLT : This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus with 2 year commitment as well as a relocation bonus.

Student Loan Repayment Program :

This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program which helps you pay off your loans faster and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principle

balance faster.

Medical Lab Tech Required Education / License / Certification Requirements :

• Associate's Transcript showing Medical Laboratory Science degree, and
• MLT - Certification from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) within 1 Year

A Brief Overview

Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties. Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure / instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education.
