Job Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for leading projects to continuously improve the quality of our products and processes.Working as a project leader, this engineer works closely with department leadership to define improvement targets, drive corrective action to reduce defects, and measure & analyze process capabilities to implement improvements.

This is a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) Monday through Thursday with the ability to work remotely on Friday.

Primary Duties

• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve product and process issues.
• Ensure quality issues for new and existing products are addressed proactively using Advanced Quality Planning tools including FMEA, Control plans, Process Flow Charts, and Statistical Process Capability
• Educate contributors on quality system requirements, as well as problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies
• Actively contribute to cross-functional teams
• Support product development and reverse engineering functions
• Support local site quality and operations
• Implement controls to prevent reoccurrence on nonconformances
