XPLE Underground Transmission Line Construction Manager
POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is seeking a temporary XPLE Underground Transmission Line Construction Manager for our PCI Construction CM Inspection Dept. This is a remote position with fieldwork located throughout the West Coast region.
Job Summary Of Roles And Responsibilities
- Construction Manager will be responsible for verifying that the contractor completes the work per the specifications and drawings
- Construction Management duties are not limited to but will include verification of construction, change orders and schedule management
- Work is performed outdoor in all types of weather from wind, and rain to sun and heat
- Work involves standing for long periods of time, walking over rough and uneven terrain
Required Education / Experience
This position is a field position and extensive travel will be requiredSuccessful candidate will have 15 or more years of active field experience in all phases of construction, computer skills (to properly fill out daily and weekly reports) and be capable of photo documentation with working knowledge of Word and ExcelDesired Education / Experience
Extensive experience in the installation or oversight of the installation of cross-linked polyethylene cable systemsIndividual will have experience in cable pulling, splicing, pumping plants and XPLE pipe installation and testingPOWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is a global consulting environmental and engineering firm and one of the top design firms in the energy sector.
