Title : Pathologist Assistant

Location : Saranac Lake, NY

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10-Hour Day Shift (7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM), 40 hours / week

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

Assist in preparation and dissection of surgical specimens

Support functions in Surgical Pathology, Histology, Cytology, General Pathology, and Autopsy Pathology

Perform gross examinations and prepare tissues for analysis

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to laboratory protocols

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program

NYS licensure as a Pathologist Assistant required

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pathologist Assistant

Must have experience in :

Surgical Pathology

Histology

Cytology

General Pathology

Autopsy Pathology

Additional Information : \nNo on-call requirement\nMust live at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule)
