Responsibilities Work primarily in an outpatient setting, with inpatient experience preferred Perform 3D and digital mammography as well as screening mammograms Care for adult and geriatric patient populations Day shifts, 5x8 hours, with start times ranging from 6 : 30 AM to 11 : 30 AM No weekend shifts are required May float to multiple locations within the Lansing area as needed Uses Epic for electronic documentation; Epic experience preferred Responsibilities include adhering to digital quality assurance procedures and maintaining radiation and universal precaution standards First-time travelers are welcome to apply 40 hours of orientation provided Must wear wine-colored scrubs Maximum 5 days of time off may be requested per contract, all requests must be submitted up front Return staff must wait 12 months before consideration for rehire Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers Requirements Valid ARRT(M) and ARRT(R) certification and current BLS Minimum 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist Proof of high school education is required Experience with digital quality assurance, isolation and radiation safety, and universal precautions Outpatient X-ray skills preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612048.
