Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities are to fully administer the cultural resources phases / tasks of projects or manage cultural resource projects from proposal to completion. Per project requirements, may be required to supervise and assist in field efforts meeting BGE and stake holder standards, including but not limited to :

• Responsible for future building out and growth of the cultural resources group.
• Assist Project Manager in project acquisition planning, proposal development, and procurement; development of project research designs and modification of research designs and procedures to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion within scope and budget; as well as project planning, development and management of project fiscal, scoping, and scheduling
• Manage and oversight of project logistics and staffing.
• Monitor tracking of field effort progress, provide feedback on time constraints and / or staffing needs, modifies field techniques and recording procedures as necessary
• Provides oversight and leadership for field-based decisions as they pertain to field crew members safety considerations, conflict resolution, and problem solving
• Executes the broader goals of the project based on research design objectives and applicable standards of investigation.
