Jupiqon is hiring : Senior User Experience Designer in Santa Monica

Jupiqon is a fast-growing visual shopping startup backed by the same investors as Skype, Facebook, Google and Groupon. We’ve raised $2M thus far and are looking to scale exponentially. We are looking for someone who’s excited to grow with us and be part of a startup that's disrupting a multibillion dollar online retail industry.

Jupiqon is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer who will work with other senior UX leadership to shape Jupiqon's overall UX strategy. You'll collaborate with your fellow Jupiqoners to build practices backed by meticulous research and guide UX Designers on interdisciplinary projects to establish a holistic, consistent user experience.

Your collaborative and interpersonal skills will help you build relationships with stakeholders throughout the company, establishing a strong UX vision and evangelizing user experience design. You'll also push UX boundaries by exploring the latest emerging trends and designing experiments aimed at discovering innovative solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Driving the user experience, human-computer interaction direction of end-to-end software applications’ user solutions and discovering opportunities for further research, improvement and innovation
• Defining and implementing standards that help the company create a consistent, quality experience for its users across all software application products
• Facilitating the user experience design process within cross-functional teams, including software engineers and business development managers in order to resolve business and user experience issues
• Designing and auditing system architecture and business processes
• Educating and evangelizing the importance of human-computer interaction challenges and opportunities, user feedback, journey mapping and data-driven decisions in designing the end-to-end user experience
• Working with user experience stakeholders to elicit, understand and codify requirements
• Creating user interface wireframes and user flows, ensuring that iterative feedback is incorporated into the software development process.
