Maintenance Manager
Maintenance Manager
We're a well established food manufacturing plant in Fresno who is looking for Maintenance Manager to manage a team of mechanics and oversee maintenance at our plant. We're looking for someone with experience managing maintenance, preferably within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to operations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of parts and services needed for repairs and maintenance operations.
- Utilize CAD drawings to assist in troubleshooting and planning maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a database of maintenance records and equipment specifications.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a food manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices and food safety standards.Experience with packaging equipment and mechanical systems such as gear boxes and drivetrains.Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to facilitate communication with diverse teams.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Benefits
