Position Overview

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Admin Day : Tuesdays (no patient contact; used for weekly prep)

Shift Details : Day Shift (8 Hours 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM)

Setting : Both Clinic and Hospital

Inpatient Beds : 227

Call Coverage : None required

Rounding : Optional Hospitalist and Doc of the Day handle all inpatient needs

Patient Demographics : Adult

Average Patients per Day : 15

Secondary Location : Provider will also assist at Cancer Center

Collaboration : Works with Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, and ARNPs

Solo Work : One day per week at Peace Island

EMR System : Epic (Proficient User Required)

Clinical Expectations

Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Coordinate with oncology and hospital teams for patient continuity of care

Manage consultations and treatment planning independently when working solo

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Requirements

Board Certification : Hematology / Oncology Required

Active Washington License : Required at time of presentation (fast-track credentialing)

Experience with Epic EMR : Required

Hospital Privileges : Both inpatient and outpatient
