Recruitment Goals
The Police Department's goal through this selection process is to identify candidates ready to take on the role of Police Sergeant and to identify competency strengths and areas for development for all officers who have demonstrated interest in furthering their career with the City.
Information Sessions
Interested candidates are encouraged to attend Information Sessions to learn more about the role expectations and the selection process. Information Sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 2 : 00 PM and Friday, October 17, 2025 at 4 : 00 PM in the HR Training Annex (HR Department, 1541 Second Street). If you would like to attend virtually via Microsoft Teams, please email the Human Resources Department for instructions on remote participation.
