job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHigh school graduate or equivalent. Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing. Previous experience as an CNA / Operating Room Attendant preferred. Previous exposure to health care environment preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Required upon hire. Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

The OR Attendant / Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit / patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
- As an OR Attendant you clean and maintain designated surgical areas.
- Safely transports patients of all ages, infants through adults, and assist with patient preparations and positioning.
- Runs needed errands between interdisciplinary departments.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 30AM - 6 : 00PM (40 hours per week)
