ROLE OVERVIEW
Pivot Energy is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Analyst to join our Financial Modeling & Analysis team. The FM&A team provides project-level financials for Pivot’s pipeline across Origination, Development, and Execution, delivering actionable insights that enable data-driven decisions aligned with the company's strategy. They ensure projects meet economic requirements and conform to Pivot’s financial standards, while leading investment committee meetings and creating accessible resources and dashboards to communicate project data and returns across the organization. As part of the broader Finance team within Finance Operations, FM&A collaborates closely with FP&A as well as Origination, Development, and Execution teams. The group also manages the Project Economic Lifecycle (PEL) Gating process, ensuring resources are invested optimally throughout the pipeline.
This role is critical in supporting the financial evaluation, modeling, and lifecycle management of our solar and energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will be a quantitative problem solver with a strong foundation in finance, excellent Excel skills, and a passion for renewable energy. The FM&A Analyst will assist in financial modeling, market research, and project support to drive project investment decision-making for Pivot's commercial and community solar and energy storage initiatives. In addition to supporting financial modeling and market analysis, this role will play a key part in supporting the FM&A team with managing competing deadlines across the team’s core scopes of project financial modeling and project investment decision-making.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build expertise in clean energy finance, specifically solar and energy storage, quantitative financial analysis, and business-led decision-making while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, along with eligibility for the company’s substantial bonus plan, with a target bonus of 30% of annual salary (prorated in the first year based on start date). Compensation will be based on factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, certifications, skills, and experience.
