ABOUT THE JOB :
Legal Logistics is hiring on behalf of a firm that is needing a detail-oriented paralegal with experience in estate planning and probate, who can also provide executive assistant support to one of the partners. This hybrid role blends client-facing legal work with operational support, giving you exposure to a wide range of responsibilities in a collaborative, growing law firm.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage status, caseload, and client communication for estate planning and probate
matters.
Attend meetings with estate planning clients to support the attorney in managing case
plans and client relationships.
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts,
powers of attorney, and corporate documents.
Meet with clients after the loss of a loved one to develop a plan for asset transfer,
primarily through the Texas probate process.
Guide clients through the probate process and assist attorneys in meeting requirements
for executors and administrators appointed by the Court.
Assist with asset distribution, draft settlement agreements, and prepare estate tax returns
as needed.
Provide executive assistant support to a partner, including managing calendars, preparing
for meetings, coordinating travel, handling correspondence, and assisting with special
projects or tasks as needed.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow across
client matters.
