About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technologist

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience in specialty (RN, CST, CVOR RN, CVOR CST)

License : BLS certification required

Certifications : National certification preferred

Must-Have : Experience to scrub in orthopedic, cardiothoracic, vascular, general, urology, robotic, GYN, colon, breast, spine, and podiatry cases.

Description :

Surgical Technologist position available.

Facility features 13 operating rooms along with a procedure / cysto room.

Performs an average of 45 cases per day.

Responsibilities include scrubbing in various surgical procedures across different specialties.

Position supports a range of patient types and common diagnoses including orthopedic surgeries such as total hip and knee arthroplasties.

Additional procedures include spine surgeries, general surgeries, GYN surgeries, and breast surgeries.

Technologist must have required technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff is essential.

Surgical Technologist will be required to maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.

Experience with robotic surgeries is preferred.

Support staff includes operating room assistants to aid in efficiency and patient care.

Utilizes electronic medical records and specific surgical equipment.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
